How Smelley is Too Smelley?

As you may have read in our previous post about Troubles with Composting.

The company Recology is continuing to receive compost waste from Portland, and they continue to receive complaints from their neighbors. The company is currently looking for alternative locations for thier facility.  "Washington County Commissioner Bob Terry  says despite Recology spending $5 million to reduce the smells, the experiment hasn't worked."

I can tell you that the worm bin in not too smelly. But the scale of what the worms break down is small. Worms also do not decompose meat, bone and dairy.
